Monochrome markmaking
For
the portrait, I figured out the composition as I went along - starting with the
face. For the hair and lips, I decided to choose similar letters for a more
varied and lively approach. I love the outcome and had fun producing a portrait
like this.
On the right is an acrylic painting of a tap. I was not allowed to
use any brushes. I
enjoyed the entire process and I feel the piece is dynamic, with the range of
textures showing through. The string was surprisingly versatile.
